San Diego Sheriff Evidence

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Domestic Crime Department is challenged, unfortunately, with maintaining proper handling, storage and preservation of hand-guns and long-guns that have been collected over the years from crime scenes.  These guns need to be kept in proper storage indefinitely in most cases.  It has become a challenge to maintain and control, and this department has looked to California Space Management, Inc. to provide the solution.  In this particular case, after a thorough survey of the items to be stored and the frequency of retrieval, our design solution integrated traditional slat wall, rubber-coated mounting pegs and high density mobile storage.  The department was able to triple their storage capacity and at the same time increase order and control of the materials.
